Trademark Renewal Request is an important part of Trademark Management. Each mark has a Renewal Term of 10 Years and Must be renewed in time to continue the Ownership.
Trademark Renewal Request can be filed before 6 months of expiry. In case, it is not renewed even after 6 months of the expiry, the Mark will be removed from the register of Trademarks India. With A Prescribed Fees and Late Fees, the renewal process is initiated and Certificate is issued in a few months.
The Registrar of Trademark shall send a Notice to the Owner’s Address for the Renewal process to take prior steps for protecting the Identity of the organization. Even then it was ignored, That trademark will be removed in between 6 to 12 months after the renewal date. Meanwhile, the Owner can get the trademark by following a Restoration Process
