Leasing of TradeMark

A Trademark Owner can Lease the mark for other entities(companies) for certain duration. This usually happens when an organization provides services to related a Product and wants to add their Name for the Promotion.It is exactly a ‘ Process of Granting other Companies a right to use one’s Trademark (Brand) for Certain Purposes for Some Period of Time. Leasing of Trademark is more beneficial to both the entities when the Products and Services are much relevant to each other.

As per the Rules assigned to Trademarks , it allows a Trademark Licensor to allow other Companies to use the mark exclusively. To make it clear, An Agreement is made to grant the leasing a Trademark by writing down the Details of the mark and its usage over time
